The metal ore processing process is complex. From raw ore processing to concentrate extraction, crushing, grinding, and beneficiation equipment are usually required.
Crushing equipment is mainly used to perform the original crushing of ore so that the raw ore meets the feed size requirements of the grinding equipment. Due to the high hardness of metal ore, a three-stage crushing configuration of “jaw crusher + single-cylinder hydraulic cone crusher + multi-cylinder hydraulic cone crusher” is usually adopted. This can ensure the crushing efficiency and reduce machine wear. The large pieces of ore mined are evenly fed into the jaw crusher by the vibrating feeder through the silo for coarse crushing. After the coarse crushing, the ore is screened by the vibrating screen and then sent to the single-cylinder cone crusher by the belt conveyor for medium crushing; the ore after medium crushing is then sent to the multi-cylinder cone crusher for fine crushing.
Grinding equipment is mainly used to grind the crushed ore for subsequent beneficiation work, and the fineness requirement is usually 200 mesh. Commonly used grinding equipment includes ball mills, etc.
Ore dressing equipment is mainly used to process the fine powder discharged from the mill, separate the useful minerals from it, and extract the fine powder. Commonly used ore dressing equipment includes heavy medium concentrators, flotation machines, magnetic separators, etc.
