Ore powder is a general term for stone powder and its substitutes that meet engineering requirements. The main chemical components are CaO, SiO2, l2O3, Fe2O3, etc. It is often mixed into concrete instead of cement to reduce the amount of cement and improve the working performance of concrete. It has many purposes such as reducing the heat of hydration, increasing the later strength, improving the internal structure of concrete, and improving the impermeability and corrosion resistance.
The raw materials for processing mineral powder can be stones such as limestone and quicklime, or industrial waste slag such as slag, water slag, steel slag, and furnace slag. After being ground to a certain fineness (usually 325 mesh), it can be blended into concrete. Usually it can reach 30%-70% of the cement usage. It can not only effectively reduce production costs, but also realize the recycling and reuse of waste residue. It has now become a green building material vigorously advocated and developed by the country.
In the grinding and processing of mineral powder, commonly used equipment include vertical mill, European type mill (Raymond mill upgrades) and other models. According to the needs of different materials and different outputs, the selected equipment must also be targeted.
For an ore powder production line with an annual output of 50,000 tons, the output is considered small and medium-sized. European type mill and vertical mill are both good choices. If the raw materials are slag, steel slag and other difficult-to-grind materials, vertical mill will be more suitable, and the output of vertical mill is larger and more suitable for large-scale mineral powder processing projects.
