The gold heap leaching process is to crush low-grade gold ore to a certain particle size (or granulate). It is piled on a leak-proof bottom pad paved with asphalt, concrete or plastic materials, and a solution such as low-concentration cyanide, alkaline solution, non-toxic solvent or dilute sulfuric acid is sprayed on the pile to dissolve the gold. The gold-containing solution is percolated from the ore pile, and the gold is recovered using methods such as activated carbon adsorption or precipitation.
The gold heap leaching process is often used to develop gold deposits with small ore bodies or low grade, or both.\r\n\r\nAfter the raw ore is crushed to a certain particle size (30-50mm) by the jaw crusher and cone crusher produced by Fighter, it is directly piled and leached; or it is granulated (to agglomerate the finer particles into coarse powder pellets). The ore is then transported to the ore pile by forklift for pile building.\r\n\r\nThe heap leaching method for gold extraction does not have high requirements on terrain conditions and can be adapted to local conditions. Permanent unloading storage yards or superimposed storage yards can be set up according to the terrain characteristics.\r\n\r\nIf the terrain on the top of a mountain or on a hillside is gentle and open, it is suitable to build a permanent unloading and stockpiling yard.
