The sand and gravel system of water conservancy projects (especially pumped storage power stations) generally adopts the process of “multi-stage crushing + closed-loop circulation + washing”.
This production line adopts a mature process flow of “three-stage closed-circuit + wet sand washing”:
Feeding and Pre-screening: After pre-screening to remove soil, the material is evenly fed into a jaw crusher for coarse crushing.
Coarse Crushing and Conveying: The jaw crusher breaks large pieces of material to a processable particle size, then conveys them to the medium and fine crushing buffer silo via belt conveyor.
Medium and fine crushing and closed-loop circulation: The material enters the cone crusher for secondary crushing, and then enters the vibrating screen for grading. The material oversizes (particle size > 31.5mm) is returned to the cone crusher for further crushing, forming a closed-loop circulation; the material undersizes (< 31.5mm) enters the sand making and washing workshop.
Sand Making/Shaping: Qualified mixed materials enter a vertical shaft impact crusher for a third crushing and shaping process, mainly producing 0-5mm coarse sand with excellent particle shape.
Screening and Washing: The coarse sand enters a circular vibrating screen for final screening. The 0-5mm manufactured sand separated from the screen enters a sand washing machine and dewatering screen. Excess stone powder and impurities are removed through washing, resulting in high-purity finished sand.
Wastewater Treatment: Wastewater generated from sand washing enters a wastewater treatment system. After treatment including fine sand recovery, sedimentation, and filter press, the clean water is reused in production, and the mud cake is transported off-site, achieving "zero discharge" of wastewater.
For water conservancy projects, a sand and gravel system with a capacity of 200 tons per hour has a moderate overall investment, mature technology, and fast commissioning speed. You can contact our online customer service to obtain customized process solutions and equipment quotation lists.
