Manganese ore has a Mohs hardness of 5-6 and strong abrasiveness. The production line adopts a three-stage closed-circuit crushing process with an output size of 0-12mm, which is suitable for subsequent ball milling/mineral processing feed.
Complete Process Flow Introduction:
1. Primary Crushing: Dump trucks unload manganese ore into the raw ore bin. A vibrating feeder evenly feeds the ore into the jaw crusher, where large pieces of ore are crushed by compression. Sludge is pre-screened to reduce the load on subsequent equipment. After primary crushing, the ore is conveyed by belt to the intermediate stockpile.
2. Secondary Crushing: The primary crushed material is fed into a multi-cylinder cone crusher. Through layered compression crushing, the ore is crushed to 40-90mm and then fed into a vibrating screen.
3. Closed-Loop Screening Circulation: Material ≤12mm from the screen is the qualified crushed product and is conveyed to the finished product bin for ball milling. Material larger than 12mm from the screen is returned to the fine crushing cone for further crushing. This cycle is repeated to ensure that all output particles meet the standard size.
4. Dust Removal and Automation: The entire line features a closed dust removal system. The central control room monitors the machine’s current, oil temperature, and equipment vibration. Automatic alarms and shutdowns occur in cases of excessive iron or material blockage.
The combination of jaw crusher and multi-cylinder hydraulic cone crusher utilizes the principle of layered crushing, which, compared to impact crushing, increases the lifespan of liners and crushing walls by 30-60%, reducing downtime for replacing spare parts. Designed for 500t/h, with a peak capacity of 580t/h, it can meet the needs of continuous mining operations for 14-16 hours per day.
