Recently, a new crushing and screening production line at a large copper ore beneficiation plant in Peru was completed. Designed with a processing capacity of 900 tons per hour, it can fully meet the needs of large-scale mining and continuous production. The production line adopts a three-stage closed-circuit crushing process of jaw crusher, cone crusher andvibrating screen. The entire production line is automated through a PLC control system, ensuring efficient and coordinated operation of the equipment.

In the primary crushing stage, raw ore is fed into a jaw crusher via a feeder, crushing copper ore ≤750mm to ≤200mm. The coarsely crushed material then enters the intermediate crushing workshop, where a single-cylinder hydraulic cone crusher further crushes it to ≤60mm. After classification by a vibrating screen, the oversize material is returned to the intermediate crushing workshop, while the undersize material enters the fine crushing workshop. The fine crushing stage uses a multi-cylinder hydraulic cone crusher to crush the material to 0-15mm, followed by closed-loop screening by a vibrating screen. Qualified products are sent to the finished product silo, while unqualified materials are returned to the fine crushing workshop for further crushing, forming a complete closed-loop cycle.

The entire production line adopts a fully enclosed structure, equipped with a high-efficiency dust removal system and noise reduction measures. The crushed copper ore has uniform particle size and a low powder content, providing ideal feeding conditions for subsequent grinding and flotation operations, effectively ensuring the recovery rate and beneficiation indicators of the copper concentrate.
