Recently, a 800-850 tph river pebbles sand-making production line was successfully installed and commissioned. This facility provides the client with a robust solution for the efficient, high-quality production of manufactured sand and aggregates.

River pebbles are characterized by their high silica content, extreme hardness, and strong abrasiveness; consequently, processing them places exceptionally high demands on the wear resistance and crushing efficiency of the equipment used. To address this challenge, the project adopted a proven process scheme consisting of “two stages of crushing followed by one stage of shaping and sand-making,” thereby achieving an optimal balance between high production output and superior finished product quality.

The core equipment components include: the HST315S single-cylinder hydraulic cone crusher, which handles medium-to-coarse crushing operations and utilizes a laminated crushing principle to minimize wear; the HST315H single-cylinder hydraulic cone crusher, responsible for medium-to-fine crushing, capable of controlling the minimum discharge size to 13 mm with a flakiness and elongation content of less than 8%; and the VS16X vertical shaft impact crusher, which integrates both shaping and sand-making functions. By combining “stone-on-stone” and “stone-on-iron” crushing modes, this unit produces aggregates with excellent particle shape and demonstrates exceptional durability.

The entire production line features a scientifically designed layout, ensuring highly efficient synergy across every operational stage. Since commissioning, the facility has consistently produced four distinct aggregate specifications 0–5 mm, 5–10 mm, 10–20 mm, and 20–31.5 mm. The resulting particle shape, gradation, and cleanliness have received high acclaim from the client, establishing this project as an exemplary model for the sand-making processing of high-hardness materials.
