600 TPH Pebble Crushing and Sand-Making Line Achieves Stable Operation in Indonesia
A large-scale crushing and sand-making production line using pebbles as raw material has recently completed commissioning and is now running stably. With a designed capacity of 600 t/h, a feed size of ≤200 mm, and a final product of 0-5 mm high-quality manufactured sand, the line adopts a process of “pre-screening, followed by crushing and closed-circuit sand making” to address the high natural sand content in the raw material.
The raw material first enters vibrating screen for pre-screening. The natural sand is directly screened out as the 0-5 mm finished product, effectively reducing the load on downstream crushing. Material over 5 mm is fed into HPT cone crusher for secondary and tertiary crushing. After crushing, it is classified by an vibrating screen. Material ≤40 mm enters VSI6X vertical shaft impact crusher for shaping and sand making. After sand making, vibrating screen perform finished-product screening. Qualified 0-5 mm product is discharged, while material over 40 mm is returned to the buffer bin of the sand makers for circular crushing, forming a closed-circuit production process.
This process combines the utilization of natural sand with hard-rock sand making, reduces over-crushing, and improves sand yield and finished-particle shape. The entire line is equipped with dust collection and intelligent control, ensuring stable operation and controllable energy consumption. It provides a reference for similar pebble sand-making projects. At present, the production line stably produces 600 tons per hour, with uniform finished-product particle size, meeting the demand for high-quality construction sand.
