Basalt is a typical hard rock, with a Mohs hardness typically between 5 and 7 and a compressive strength of 147-294 MPa. For this high-hardness material, we employ a “three-stage closed-circuit + shaping and screening” process. The entire equipment setup must be designed around the principles of “durability for hard rock and continuous operation.”

Considering the characteristics of basalt, we abandoned the easily damaged impact crushers and hammer crushers, adopting a scientific configuration of “jaw crusher + multiple cone crushers + impact crusher”. The “layered crushing” principle of the cone crusher ensures efficient operation and stable output, while effectively reducing wear on wear-resistant parts.

The finished product has excellent particle shape and higher value. The finished aggregate particles are mostly cubic with extremely low needle-like and flaky content (the needle-like and flaky content of a single-cylinder hydraulic cone crusher can be controlled below 8%). High-quality particle shape can significantly improve concrete strength, giving the product stronger pricing power and competitiveness in the market.

The production line is equipped with a PLC intelligent control system with multiple control modes such as constant feed and constant power. The system can automatically optimize operating parameters, reducing manual intervention and operational difficulty, not only improving efficiency but also significantly reducing overall operating and maintenance costs.
