To improve beneficiation efficiency, a gold mine constructed a modern production line with a daily processing capacity of 3,000 tons.
The crushing stage utilizes a three-stage, closed-circuit process. Through jaw crushers, cone crushers, and vibrating screens, the ore is reduced to a particle size below 15 mm, laying the foundation for subsequent grinding. The grinding stage utilizes a closed-circuit ball mill and hydrocyclone, grinding the ore to a 200 mesh size, representing 85% of the total, ensuring complete gold dissociation. The beneficiation stage utilizes a combined flotation-cyanidation process: coarse gold is first recovered through flotation to produce a high-grade gold concentrate. The tailings are then subjected to thickening, leaching, and carbon adsorption processes to extract fine gold, achieving a total recovery rate of 92.5%.
The entire production line is equipped with an automated control system that optimizes process parameters in real time. Dry tailings discharge and wastewater recycling technologies are also employed to achieve environmentally friendly and efficient production. This project not only significantly improves resource utilization but also reduces energy consumption and operating costs.
