At a gold mine project in Oman, the complete crushing equipment has maintained stable operation despite challenging site conditions. Based on the high-hardness gold ore and the site requirements, the project adopts a PE1000×1200 jaw crusher for primary crushing and multi-cylinder hydraulic cone crushers for secondary and fine crushing, forming a combined primary and secondary crushing process.
The project is designed to achieve a stable output of 300 t/h, with the finished product concentrated in the 0–12 mm range, meeting downstream requirements for both capacity and particle size. In the crushing of high-hardness gold ore, the crushing chamber is subject to heavy loads and strong abrasion, placing high demands on continuous operation. The multi-cylinder hydraulic cone crushers feature strong crushing capacity and hydraulic iron-passing protection. When foreign objects enter the crushing chamber, the system can respond promptly, reducing the risk of equipment damage and unexpected downtime. Their hydraulic adjustment and dust-sealing design also help the production line adapt to local sandy conditions and maintain a high operating rate.
Since commissioning, the production line has maintained stable output and finished product particle size. The equipment has shown good adaptability under high-hardness ore and challenging site conditions and has been recognized by the project owner. The case indicates that a reasonable crushing process combination and reliable multi-cylinder hydraulic cone crusher configuration are important foundations for stable production, offering a practical reference for similar gold mining projects in the Middle East.
