Amidst the growing scarcity of natural aggregates and increasingly stringent requirements for solid waste disposal, the resource utilization of construction waste has become an industry consensus. Recently, a stationary processing line with a capacity of 150 tons per hour was put into operation, specifically designed to address the volume reduction and value-added utilization of waste concrete from local demolition projects. Following a comprehensive evaluation, the CI5X impact crusher was selected as the core equipment for the line due to its excellent adaptability, stable crushing force, and convenient discharge adjustment capabilities.
Material is evenly fed into the CI5X impact crusher, where high-speed rotor action and multi-stage impact chambers effectively control particle size. The material then passes through a magnetic separator to remove rebar and other metals before being precisely screened by a circular vibrating screen into three standard aggregate sizes 0-5 mm, 5-10 mm, and 10-31.5 mm, which are conveyed to their respective finished product stockpiles. The entire line features an enclosed structure and a dust removal system, ensuring a clean and controllable production process; actual output consistently meets design capacity, and resource utilization remains high.
The project manager noted that the CI5X impact crusher has demonstrated reliable performance in actual operation. Its “tramp iron” protection function is particularly sensitive and effective when handling feedstocks with high rebar content, significantly reducing unplanned downtime. The resulting aggregates feature uniform shapes and continuous gradation, earning recognition from downstream users. The line’s operating costs are lower than anticipated, and energy consumption is reasonable, effectively resolving the dual challenges of solid waste stockpiling and environmental compliance.
