The metal ore processing process is complex. From raw ore processing to fine powder extraction, equipment such as crushing, grinding, and mineral processing are usually required.
1. Crushing equipment
The crushing equipment is mainly used for primary crushing of ore so that the raw ore can meet the feed inlet size requirements of the grinding equipment.
Due to the high hardness of metal ore, three-stage crushing configuration of “jaw crusher + single-cylinder hydraulic cone crusher + multi-cylinder hydraulic cone crusher” is usually used. This ensures crushing efficiency and reduces machine wear.
The mined large pieces of ore are evenly sent to the jaw crusher by the vibrating feeder through the silo for coarse crushing. After the coarsely crushed ore is screened by the vibrating screen, it is sent to the single-cylinder cone crusher by the belt conveyor for processing.The crushed ore after medium crushing is then sent to the multi-cylinder cone crusher for fine crushing.
2. Grinding equipment
The grinding equipment is mainly used to grind the crushed ore for subsequent mineral processing. The fineness requirement is usually 200 mesh. Commonly used grinding equipment include ball mills, vertical mills, etc.
3. Ore dressing equipment
The ore dressing equipment is mainly used to process the fine powder discharged from the mill, separate the useful minerals, and extract the fine powder. Commonly used mineral processing equipment includes heavy media mineral concentrators, flotation machines, magnetic separators, etc.
