Pyrophyllite crushing and grinding process

Pyrophyllite is a type of clay mineral with fine texture and low hardness (1-2). The newly developed pyrophyllite mine has a reserve capacity of 2 million tons, of which the aluminum content reaches 30%–39%, and Fe2O3+TI2O<0.2 %, suitable for making blanks (molds) for synthetic diamond, ceramics, refractory materials, fiberglass, engraving stones, etc. It can be widely used in industrial sectors such as ceramics, metallurgy, building materials, chemical industry, and light industry.

 

Pyrophyllite processing technology:
1. Crushing stage: The large pieces of material are crushed by the crusher to the feeding fineness (15mm-50mm) that can enter the grinding mill.
2. Grinding stage: Small pieces of materials that meet the grinding conditions enter the grinding chamber of the mill uniformly and quantitatively through the feeding system, and are ground into powder in the grinding chamber.
3. Classification stage: The ground materials are classified through the powder selector with the system air flow. Unqualified powder is classified by the powder selector and returned to the main machine’s grinding chamber for re-grinding.
4. Powder collection stage: Powder that meets the fineness will enter the powder collection system through the pipeline with the air flow, and the air powder will be separated. The finished powder will be sent to the finished product silo by the conveying device, and then packaged in a powder tanker or automatic baler.

Coarse powder process:
1. Crushing stage: The large pieces of material are crushed by the crusher to the feeding fineness (15mm-50mm) that can enter the grinding mill.
2. Grinding stage: Small pieces of materials that meet the grinding conditions enter the mill evenly and quantitatively through the conveying and feeding system for crushing, and can be formed in one go.
